“The temptation to quit will be greatest just before you’re about to succeed.” ~Chinese Proverb

A friend of mine posted the image to the left on my Facebook page about a month ago. At that time, it spoke volumes to me, and it continues to do so. I figured this image would be a perfect way to start this blog.

Too many of us have dreams, goals, and aspirations that we strive to achieve for a very long time. We come across many obstacles, stumble over a lot of bumps, and maybe find ourselves drifting off into a ditch. What I’ve learned throughout my life-long journey of reaching some of my own personal/professional goals is that it’s not the accomplishment, but the journey is what matters.

When we accept the fact that it’s the journey that we seek and should enjoy, then we will have no problem continuing on that road to our success. We will not find ourselves digging holes until one day we grow tired and turn around without knowing that we had a few centimeters left to go until we reached our destination.

Through all of the ups and downs that life has thrown me, I value the journey. It not only made me stronger, but it also made me the remarkable person that I am today so that when life throws me another curve ball and knocks me off my feet, I’m strong enough to bounce back.

There is no better time than the present to start living out your dreams, fulfilling your destiny, and becoming the person you dreamed of being.

How are you enjoying your journey?
